I recently divorced from my wife of 15 years. We have two children - 13 and 17.

Although we divorced amicably, my ex-wife wants to set down specific timetables for when my younger son can visit me. I think it would be far more beneficial to allow him to decide whom he spends time with and when. He should know that he is welcome with both of us, whenever.

Has anybody got any thoughts? I know he is only 13, but I think that is old enough to make his own decisions.
