  • Information About Us
    • The Site is operated by Raising Teens Ltd. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 6468756 and have our registered office at Senate Court, Southernhay Gardens, Exeter EX1 2NT. Our main trading address is at Senate Court, Southernhay Gardens, Exeter EX1 2NT.
  • Accessing our Site
    • Access to our Site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our Site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason our Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.
    • From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our Site, or our entire Site, to users who have registered with us. You must be 18 or older to register with us.
    • If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.
    • You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our Site. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our Site through your internet connection are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them.
    • The Site may only be accessed by users resident in the United Kingdom.
  • Permitted Use
    • Subject to clause 3.3, you are permitted to print and download extracts from the Site for your own personal non-commercial use on the following basis:
      • no documents or related graphics on the Site are modified in any way;
      • no graphics on the Site are used separately from accompanying text;
      • copyright and trade mark notices and this permission notice appear in all copies; and
      • you do not sell, rent, lease, license, sub-license, grant rights in, transfer, distribute, time-share or otherwise assign to any third party any portion of this Site.
    • You are also permitted to store an electronic, transient copy of the extract of the Site for viewing purposes only while connected to the Internet. For the avoidance of doubt you may only make one such copy.

    • Unless otherwise specified, and subject to clause 9 hereof, we are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
    • Unless otherwise specified, the authors of the literary and artistic works in the materials contained in the Site have asserted their moral right pursuant to Section 77 of the Copyright Designs and Patents Act 1988 to be identified as the authors of those works.

  • Third party material and advertisements
    • The Site contains material submitted and created by third parties. We exclude all liability for any illegality arising from or error, omission or inaccuracy in such material and we take no responsibility for such material.
    • In the event that you purchase or obtain any goods or services from a third party, then your acquisition of such goods or services will be in accordance with the third party's terms and conditions and we exclude so far as permitted by law all liability to you in respect of the same.

    • Where our Site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, these links are provided for your information only. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources, and accept, except as required by law, no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.
    • We do not necessarily endorse the materials on those third party Sites.

  • Material submitted by you
    • By submitting any material to us, you:
      • automatically grant us a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, exclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, edit, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, perform and display such material (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in such content; and
      • waive all your moral rights in such materials.
    • You acknowledge that we are not obliged to publish any material submitted by you.
    • You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to or from the Site any material:
      • that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, seditious, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy or which may cause annoyance or inconvenience; or
      • for which you have not obtained all necessary licences and/or approvals; or
      • which constitutes or encourages conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise be contrary to the law of or infringe the rights of any third party, in the UK or any other country in the world; or
      • which is technically harmful (including, without limitation, computer viruses, logic bombs, Trojan horses, worms, harmful components, corrupted data or other malicious software or harmful data).
    • Although Raising Teens Limited is not responsible for comments included in the Raisingteens Forum, we reserve the right to review postings and delete them if we do not consider them to be appropriate.
    • You may not misuse the Site (including, without limitation, by hacking).
    • We will fully co-operate with any law enforcement authorities or court order requesting or directing us to disclose the identity or locate anyone posting material in breach of paragraph 9.3 or acting in breach of paragraph 9.4.
  • Data Protection and Privacy
    • We process information about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.
    • We hold a data protection registration and comply with the Data Protection Act 1998.
  • Validity
    • If any term, condition, or provision of these terms and conditions is determined to be unlawful, invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms, conditions and provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired thereby.
  • Replies
    • Whilst we will normally use our best endeavours to respond to all enquiries we receive, whether received directly, via "Ask the Experts", or otherwise, we are not obliged to do so and reserve the right not to reply to all and/or any such enquiries.
  • Variations
    • We may revise these terms of use at any time by amending this page. You are expected to check this page from time to take notice of any changes we made, as they are binding on you. Some of the provisions contained in these terms of use may also be superseded by provisions or notices published elsewhere on our Site.
  • Entire Agreement
    • These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and us relating to the subject matter herein.

  • Financial Services Regulation Requirements
    • Security:
      • When you are buying services over the Internet, you need to be assured that your details will be safe from prying eyes and misuse.
      • We are well aware of these issues and it is important that you are too and that you are confident that every effort has been made to protect you.
      • Any information being passed over the internet, whether credit card details, names, addresses, phone numbers or other sensitive information is encrypted to the highest industry standard so that no one can read or obtain your details for fraudulent means. All information is held by Worldpay who will be responsible for debiting the correct amount from your card.
    • Payment:
      • You can pay using one of the following credit/debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Switch or Delta.
      • All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and payment cannot be accepted in any other currency.
    • Formation of the Contract:
      • No contract will subsist between you and us to make the Subscription Areas available to you unless and until you have submitted your payment details to Worldpay and they have confirmed to us that your account has been debited. There will then be a legally binding contract between us and you will be able to access the subscription areas.
      • You confirm you are over 18 years of age and if you are ordering any service on behalf of a company or partnership that you have the necessary authority to do so.
      • We reserve the right to change prices listed without notice and also reserves the right to decline to make the Subscription Areas available to any individual, company or other entity.
  • Jurisdiction and Applicable Law
    • The Courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, a visit to our Site. These terms are governed by the Law of England and Wales.
